I certainly couldn't get my surround sound speakers working.Īny solution would be greatly appreciated. Actually, one of the proposed solutions was to use Microsoft's high definition audio device driver, and that caused the sound card output to not even show up as an option for sound anymore.and I also referred to a MS support article and that didn't help. I did run the "Troubleshoot sound problems" on the playback menu but that didn't fix anything either. Not sure if someone at MS can reach out to Creative on this, or what the process is, but there does seem to be an issue. I'm beginning to think there's a compatibility problem with Windows 10 and the driver that Creative created.some kind of a bug. Only, with the volume cranked to the max.īelieve me, I'm not a novice at this, Richard, I've built pcs, installed video cards, sound cards, etc. I've tweaked the settings many different ways, disabling effects, etc.the best I finally found was a setting that let the sound barely audible in the center speaker Previously indicated, I'm driving a logitech 5.1 surround sound system on my gaming computer). I've changed the settings from the default to 5.1, which is my system (as I've done this.I've been to Creative's site and downloaded the correct driver several times (uninstall / reinstall), and I've got the card enabled and set as my default device.
